Most of our drywall work comes as part of a repaint: the cracks over doorways, the dents behind a door handle, the seam that has opened up along a ceiling. We fill, tape, sand and feather the repair so that it disappears under the finish coat rather than showing as a patch in side light.
Larger work is handled the same way: cutting back to sound board, fitting a new piece, taping and finishing in coats, then priming before paint.
Where the damage came from a leak, the source has to be fixed first. We will tell you when a repair is going to fail again without the plumbing or roofing work ahead of it.

Questions about drywall repair
Will the repair show after painting?
Not if it is finished properly. The patch is feathered well beyond the damage and primed so that the sheen matches, which is what usually gives a bad repair away.
Can you match a textured or stippled ceiling?
In most cases yes. Older stipple can be difficult to match exactly, and where that is the case we will tell you before we start and talk through the options.
